The mission of the FWCS Career Academy is to provide students with skills to succeed and opportunities to use those skills. FWCS Career Academy trains students from 22 high schools. The Career Academy provides those students with dual-credit opportunities, internship opportunities, certification opportunities, and opportunities to explore the community.
Helen P. Brown Natatorium staff will strive to promote lifetime fitness through aquatic education to the diverse population of Fort Wayne Community Schools and the community.

While supporting goals to maintain optimal health and encouraging attitudes conducive to life long positive health practices, school nurses effectively impact the community as a whole.

Study Connection is a successful way for local businesses, churches and community organizations to become champions for education. For one hour each week during the school year, volunteer tutors meet with students identified by their teachers as needing extra homework assistance. In many instances, students are transported to and from their study sites by FWCS buses.
Established in 1994, the FWCS Security Department has been recognized nationwide and is one of the most proactive and technologically advanced programs in Indiana. The director and staff continually educate themselves through workshops, publications, the internet and sharing experiences of other school corporations. This Web page gives a brief description of just some of the programs implemented by the Security Department to help maintain a safe environment for our students and staff.
