Study Connection Bus Drivers Needed

(15-passenger bus)

There are currently Study Connection Bus Driver openings on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 2-5 pm. The Study Connection 15-passenger buses are stored the Catalpa Street Warehouse. Each day is a different route that includes picking up at an elementary school and dropping the students off at a Study Connection site; then picking up the students from the site and bringing them back to the elementary where a parent will pick them up.

If you are interested in being a part of an outstanding program that has a lasting impact on a child’s life, then this opportunity is for you!

For more information please contact Jessica Swinford, Community Programs Coordinator, at 467-8811 or Jessica.Swinford@fwcs.k12.in.us.

A valid driver’s license is required and training on how to drive the 15-passenger bus will be provided. This is a paid position.

If interested and no additional questions are needed, then you can apply at: http://www.fwcsjobs.org/ , select Non-Teaching Support/Substitute Positions, scroll to Study Connection Bus Driver.

Books for Sale!

Proceeds Benefit FWCS Study Connection Program
Students in Ms. Winebrenner’s kindergarten class at Waynedale Elementary recently published a book titled "Kindergarten A to Z" with help from their Study Connection tutor. This book was written for in-coming kindergartners about things they might want to know about kindergarten. The students were the authors and illustrators of this book. Due to the tremendous response, the books are now available for purchase through the Study Connection office and serve as a fundraiser for the program. Books are just $10 each.

To place an order, you may call the Study Connection office at 467-8810 or print out the order form. Study Connection is a program through Fort Wayne Community Schools that matches community volunteers with students needing academic assistance for tutoring.
