Helen P. Brown Natatorium Water Exercise Classes
The Helen P. Brown Natatorium offers water exercise for all ages and fitness levels. The Aquatic Exercise Association Certified Instructors will help you adapt your workout to your fitness level for maximum benefit. Enjoy morning or evening classes. Classes vary by session. |POWER HOUR||Challenge yourself in this 8-week cardio and strength circuit class. Push yourself each week to accomplish more reps, more laps with a tighter body each week!|
|SHALLOW WATER CARDIO||Enjoy this shallow water exercise class that is sure to get your blood flowing. On top of a cardiovascular workout, this class also includes strength, toning, and flexibility exercises to give you a full body workout. With different equipment and upbeat music thrown in this class is never the same twice! All ability/swimming levels welcome.|
|DEEP WATER CARDIO||If you need a good workout but don’t want the stress on your joints then deep water cardio is a great exercise option. This class offers a no-impact environment in deep water that not only works your heart but also works on muscle strength and range of motion. All skill levels are welcome as flotation belts are provided; however, participants must be comfortable in deep water.|
|WORK IT!||Offered in both shallow and deep water, these classes are designed to take your workout to the next level. You will be challenged both mentally and physically as your instructor leads you through a high intensity strength and cardio training session. Can you push through your limits? Modern music and new equipment will keep you on your toes and leave you invigorated. All participants are welcome; however the class is geared towards athletes looking to expand their training.|
|MOMMY & ME||Join us for a great chance to have some quality time with your child AND get some exercise at the same time! This one-on-one parent/child workout will get your blood pumping and your little one smiling. This class is not limited to "mommies" only - any adult/child combo within the age range is acceptable! 6-36 months old|
|SPECIAL TRAINING||Designed for groups of 10 or more. Let us specialize a workout for your group Athletic specialties, runners, and special populations are encouraged to take advantage of this program.|
