Consequences for Dress Code Infractions

Research shows that standards of neatness and appropriateness in clothing encourage an atmosphere conducive to learning, work and discipline. Furthermore, pride in one’s school and oneself is, in part, influenced by appearance. All clothing worn to school must be in good condition. Parents’ and students’ cooperation in adhering to the dress code and the spirit of uniform rules is expected and appreciated.

  • Violation of dress code will result in the student being sent to the office.
  • The parents may be called to bring in appropriate clothes or students may be required to wear uniform clothing as provided by the office.
  • The child will remain in the office until a change of clothes is brought in if needed.
  • Repeated dress code violations may require detentions being served at lunch and/or after school. It will be YOUR responsibility to pick up your child after they serve their detention for not adhering to the school dress code.
