The Early College Pathway is focused on providing students with the opportunity to earn the prestigious Indiana College Core. Upon completion students will be eligible to transfer a minimum of 30 college credits to any state college or university in Indiana. Students will take a broad range of courses in mathematics, science, language arts, and liberal arts.

PATHWAY JOB EXAMPLES

Students completing the ICC can apply credits earned in high school to any Associates or Bachelor’s Degree program offer by state universities and colleges in Indiana. Many students are able to shorten their college experience by 1 year. This is a considerable savings to college bound students and families.

CAPSTONE OPTIONS

A capstone is a culminating course, project or internship that uses the knowledge and skills learned in a Pathway, typically done during senior year. We have several options:

  • Cooperative Education - approximately 5 hours per week of employability skills school-based instruction with minimum 15 hours per week on-the-job training
  • Work-Based Learning Capstone - must have completed pre-requisite and work 75 hours per credit per semester
