
Dental Careers (Off-Campus)
Students in this Career Academy program will explore the careers of dental assisting, hygiene and dental laboratory. The simulated dental office allows hands-on opportunities to become proficient with infection-control procedures, dental and medical terminology and dental instrumentation.

Dual credit and employment certification options are offered for this pathway. When students choose an off-campus pathway, they will have three classes at their home school junior and senior years.

CAPSTONE
Students enrolled in Pathways through the FWCS Career Academy take courses during junior year in preparation for a capstone project or internship opportunity senior year. Dental Careers students have the option of earing the Dental Assisting National Board Radiology Certification. Depending on capstone placement, students may need to provide their own transportation.
