Our Schools of Success have been set up to be run by dynamic, creative and innovative community members in our advisory groups. Our groups include advisory groups are aimed at both community members and student families.

Community Advisory

CEO Champions

Community membership will be comprised of executive level representation of our 3 Schools of Success industries.

Advocate for the work of the Schools of Success publicly, within their industry and personally.
Public accountability for the advancement of Schools of Success rests with the Steering Committee.
Serves as an advocate for Schools of Success within their professional, social and political communities promoting the practice and quality of Schools of Success.

District Advisory Boards

Community membership will be comprised of management level representation of our 3 Schools of Success industries.

Advise the Schools of Success at the district level of the latest industry trends (equipment, certification, etc.) that will prepare students for success.
Assist the Schools of Success at the district level to expand learning opportunities for students.
Advocate for the work of the Schools of Success publicly, within their industry and personally.

School Advisory Councils

Community membership will be comprised of field level representation of our 3 Schools of Success industries.

Advise the Schools of Success at the building level of the latest industry trends (equipment, certification, etc.) that will prepare students for success.
Assist the Schools of Success at the building level to expand learning opportunities for students.
Advocate for the work of the Schools of Success publicly, within their industry and personally.

District Family Advisory Board

Membership will be comprised of caregivers of our students from across the district.

Equips all caregivers with tools to achieve academic success and strategies to achieve them.
Empowering caregiver voices in the shaping of programs, services and strategies that result in better outcomes for students.
Serves as an advocate for families and offer guidance in decision-making within the Schools of Success model at the district level.

School Family Engagement Councils

Membership will be comprised of caregivers of our students at each of our schools of success.

Facilitating strong and effective relationships between schools and caregivers.
Understand the School of Success pathways and how it affects student learning to ensure academic success (it's important to understand the School of Success Pathways and how it aligns with their needs).
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to ensure success of families enrolled in FWCS Schools of Success.
Advocate for the work of the Schools of Success publicly and personally.
