Zumbathon Supports Study Connection - January 11, 2013

Fifteen area Zumba instructors will lead participants for two hours of dancing, sweating and fun in support of Fort Wayne Community Schools’ Study Connection on Saturday, Jan. 19.

Zumba is a combination of Latin dancing with a cardiovascular workout. From 1-3 p.m. at North Side High School, the instructors will lead the participants, with each instructor introducing their own flair to the exercise. No previous Zumba experience is needed to participate.

Registration is $20 at the door. The first 200 participants will receive a zippered cloth clutch. Door prizes will also be awarded. The event is sponsored by A Party Apart, Douglass Law Firm and Summit City Fitness.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Study Connection, Fort Wayne Community Schools' after-school tutoring program, which partners students with employees at businesses and organizations throughout the community. To learn more, visit www.studyconnection.org.
