FWCS to Auction Off Equipment - August 21, 2012

Fort Wayne Community Schools will have a loose equipment auction at 9a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Elmhurst High School,3829 Sandpoint Road.

The auction will feature equipment remaining at Elmhurst since its closure as well as equipment no longer being used in other school buildings. The auction will include thousands of items, ranging from shop machinery, wood working equipment and electronic equipment to desks, filing cabinets and tables. There will also be a large number of food service equipment items, such as convection ovens, milk coolers, steam tables and a salad bar. Other miscellaneous items include stage props, Elmhurst athletic apparel, golf cart and athletic equipment, including several pieces of equipment from weight rooms. A public preview of the items will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24. Bidders may register on Friday or the day of the auction beginning at 8 a.m. Online bidding will be available on select items through BidSpotter.com. All items will be sold as-is.

Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase during the auction.
