Mondays are Marvelous at Croninger. That's the emphasis of a year-long initiative aimed at improving student attendance. Last year, when Croninger Elementary School missed being named a Four Star School because it's attendance was .02% below what was required, staff did their math. They found out that Mondays were the toughest on excellent attendance. In an effort to turn this trend around, each Monday is Marvelous. Teachers wear T-shirts stating just that: MARVELOUS MONDAY!@Croninger Elementary. And, a special Principal's Recess is given to students on the last Friday of each month as a reward for excellent Monday turnouts. The school is located at 6700 Trier Road. Catch the Marvelous fun any Monday during the school day - 8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Contact: Sondra Brooks, assistant principal, 425-7326
