North Side High School is extremely pleased to welcome the legendary tenor saxophonist Ernie Watts as the featured artist for its 2006 Jazz Festival. Mr. Watts, a two-time Grammy Award winner, has been featured on over 500 recordings over the course of a career spanning more than 30 years. The North Side Jazz Festival will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 25. Twenty-five area bands are slated to perform. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m., featuring Ernie Watts and Fort Wayne's own New Millennium Jazz Orchestra. Tickets for the concert are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students.
