For the first time, FWCS Spanish-speaking families will have district information at their fingertips in their home language! Thanks to Title III grant funds, the district was able to have its Student-Parent Guide translated into Spanish. The booklet provides a host of information, including immunizations needed, free/reduced meal program details, before- and after-school options and much more. It is updated annually and mailed to all FWCS families prior to the beginning of the school year. The Spanish version is just now off the press, but it will be updated and made available at the same time as the English booklet in the future. All 53 schools have copies of the booklet and copies will be available in the branches of the Allen County Public Library. For information, contact Debbie Morgan, PIO, 467-2022.
