Northrop hosting fine arts festival - March 20, 2018

The Northrop High School Fine and Performing Arts Department will host Fine Arts Week March 20-23.  The intention is for ALL Northrop students to have an opportunity to experience the arts in their school.  The schedule is:

Tuesday, March 20

10 to 11:30 a.m. - Show Choir and Jazz Band

1:30 to 3 p.m. - Dance and Theatre

Wednesday, March 21

Art Demonstrations during lunch in the commons

7 to 9 p.m. - Evening performance for parents

Thursday, March 22

10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Dance and Theatre

1:30 to 3 p.m. - Show Choir and Jazz Band

The school’s art gallery will be open during lunch Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Wednesday during the evening performance. 

With nearly 30,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of the largest school districts in Indiana. FWCS proudly allows families to choose any of its 50 schools through its successful school-choice program creating diversity in each school, including some with more than 75 languages spoken. FWCS offers seven magnet schools focusing on areas such as science and math, communication, fine arts or Montessori at the elementary and middle school level. In high school, students can choose from the prestigious International Baccalaureate program, Project Lead the Way or New Tech Academy as well as other rigorous academic and specialty training programs.
