Price Elementary School is collecting  items for local food banks the week of Nov. 13. Each day is a theme-day

Monday: Pajama day if you bring in a canned or boxed food item

Tuesday: Mismatched day if you bring in a school supply item

Wednesday: Wacky hair day if you bring in new socks/underwear

Thursday: Hat day if you bring in a personal hygiene item

Friday: Panda Pride/Spirit wear day if you bring in an item of your choosing.


With nearly 30,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of the largest school districts in Indiana. FWCS proudly allows families to choose any of its 50 schools through its successful school-choice program creating diversity in each school, including some with more than 75 languages spoken. FWCS offers seven magnet schools focusing on areas such as science and math, communication, fine arts or Montessori at the elementary and middle school level.
