Tickets on Sale for Study Connection's Cupcakes & Cocktails - May 23, 2017

Tickets are on sale now for Cupcakes & Cocktails, an event to support Fort Wayne Community Schools' Study Connection after-school tutoring program. The event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at The Philmore on Broadway. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased online at: studyconnectioncupcakesandcocktails.eventbrite.com.

Those attending will taste test cupcakes from local bakeries and vote on their favorites as part of the Cupcake Clash. Additional catering is provided by Calhoun Street Soups, Salads and Spirits with live jazz music by the Phil Schurger Trio. In addition, a brief ceremony will feature highlights from two Study Connection tutors sharing the significant impact that an investment of time, talent or treasure can have on the lives of children in Fort Wayne Community Schools. The event will be emceed by Angie Nash of Angie in the Morning on Majic 95.1.

Proceeds from the Cupcakes & Cocktails fundraiser will benefit FWCS Study Connection, an after-school tutoring program that matches students with employees and volunteers at area businesses and organizations through the community. Students and tutors meet for one hour once a week to provide consistent academic assistance and mentoring to students who may not otherwise receive it.
