eLearning Expectations

When in-person learning cannot take place because of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, students will learn at home. The State allows a limited number of eLearning days during the school year and unlimited Remote Learning days.

We will be using our eLearning Days before our Remote Learning Days. We will announce which type of learning our schools are on via ParentSquare, TV, Radio and Social Media.

eLearning

  • On eLEARNING days assignments will be posted to your teacher’s SeeSaw (K-2) or Schoology (3-12) page daily. Assignments will be posted by:
    • 9:00 a.m. for middle, intermediate and high schools including Amp Lab & Career Academy
    • 9:30 a.m. for elementary and early childhood
  • Teachers will offer office hours at least twice per day (one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon) to allow students to ask questions about assignments.

Student Expectations

  • Students are expected to log into SeeSaw (K-2) or Schoology (3-12) to view instructions and assignments.
  • Students are required to complete all work assigned. Attendance for an eLearning day is based on turning in assignments by the end of the third day after the eLearning day.
  • If a student has questions, they should connect with their teacher(s) during the teacher's office hours.

Parent Expectations

  • Parents should ensure their child has an appropriate learning environment that is a quiet place free of distractions.
  • Parents should ensure their child is logging on to SeeSaw (K-2) or Schoology (3-12) daily to access assignments.
