Summer 2024 will be the first year for Indiana SUN Bucks, a new benefits program providing families $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out.
Most eligible families will get these benefits automatically, but some parents will need to apply. This new program is available in addition to free meals that kids of all ages can get at summer meal sites in their communities. FWCS Summer Programming
After experimenting with different types of summer learning opportunities for students the past, we are taking a more targeted approach this year. We have contacted families directly if their child is eligible for the following programs:
ESY
High Ability
IRead
Kindergarten Round Up
Credit Recovery
Summer programs will not take place June 19 (Juneteenth) or July 4 (Independence Day).
If your child has been invited to one of these programs and you have questions
