The Wendy Y. Robinson Family & Community Engagement Center (FACE) is the district office for student services. We take pride in offering you quality customer service, convenience and prompt personal attention. Located at 230 E. Douglas Ave., we provide a variety of services to ensure all FWCS students have the support they need to achieve academic success.

Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) welcomes all children. Students in FWCS are assigned to a school based on their residence which can be looked up here.
Families may also choose a school outside their attendance area by filling out a school choice lottery application.

The Family & Community Engagement Center staffs 2 full time interpreters (1 in Spanish and 1 in Burmese) in the building to help serve all of our families in-person.
Our English Language Learners (ELL) program serves students who are learning English by providing English language development support in all of our schools in over 70 languages, and are consistently adding interpreters for additional languages.

FWCS Families in Transition Department is located in the Family & Community Engagement Center and provides services to students in pre-K through grade 12 who are experiencing homelessness by removing barriers for students in transitional living situations.
The Fort Wayne Community Schools Clothing Bank provides clothing to thousands of students each year. FWCS students receive clothes, shoes, coats, toiletries, and other items as needed per request.
The FWCS Health Clinic at the Family & Community Engagement Center is staffed by three Parkview Registered Nurses from Community Nursing. This partnership works to address the health issues and needs of new and existing students and families. We offer a variety of free services and programs.
When a child enrolls in a school corporation, the student’s parent/guardian must provide proof the student has been immunized or that a current religious or medical objection is on file. The parent/guardian must provide the school corporation with complete immunization records prior to the beginning of the school year.
The College and Career Readiness program supports all FWCS students in establishing and pursuing college and career goals. Students are encouraged to aim high and reach their fullest potential in whatever path they choose.
The GEAR UP FWCS program is a federally funded program awarded by the United States Department of Education and is designed to increase the number of students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.
