I started in transportation in December 1989 with two small children at home. The flexibility meant I could provide income while still being there for my family—it was truly the best of both worlds and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I drove for more than 23 years, learning firsthand what safety, reliability and relationships mean to students and families. Those years shaped how I lead today.- Dawn Fox, Safety & Student Management Coordinator

I love working for FWCS because it gives me the opportunity to coach, teach and build meaningful relationships with my students and athletes. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching them grow not just in their skills, but in their confidence and character. Being part of their journey and helping them succeed both in and out of the classroom is what makes this work so fulfilling.- Jacob Fisher, Special Education Teacher & Head Softball Coach

My family and I have benefited greatly from the employee clinics, utilizing them for everything from strep throat and ear infections to achieving my personal weight loss goals. The convenience is unmatched, being able to pick up prescriptions on-site saves so much time. The staff is consistently friendly and the addition of new locations around Fort Wayne makes accessing care even easier. They truly prioritize making life easier for us employees.
