Maria Norman: Board President - At Large
Maria Norman is the Student Information Systems Business Analyst for the web at Purdue University Fort Wayne. She maintains the Student Portal and the university’s mobile application. She is a life-long resident of Fort Wayne and graduate of Fort Wayne Community Schools, Maria attended Irwin Elementary, Portage Middle and Elmhurst High schools.
Maria became the first member of her family to attain a college degree when she graduated from DePauw University with a BA in Art History. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Management from Indiana University Fort Wayne. During graduate school Maria focused on issues that public schools face: public school financing, accountability and how legislation affects our schools today.
Maria married fellow Elmhurst grad, Amos, and together they have one son, Elijah, who also attends FWCS. They proudly live in the Historic Fairmont Neighborhood. She serves on the board because, "Education is my passion. I’ve seen how having an education can change someone’s life, for the better. I want every student in Fort Wayne to benefit from a great education. I will work tirelessly to represent the students and families of the Fort Wayne community."

Email:Rohli Booker : Board Vice-President- District 4
Rohli Booker is the mother of three sons: Deen, Nas and Max, who are all Fort Wayne Community Schools students. Rohli grew up in the 4th District and attended Bunche Elementary School (now Bunche Montessori Early Childhood Center), Weisser Park Elementary School, Memorial Park Middle School and South Side High School.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Ball State University, Rohli returned to Fort Wayne and the 4th District. She is now a licensed beauty professional and is the owner/operator of Aza Image, a beauty company that provides services in the Fort Wayne area.
Rohli has helped develop and volunteered or worked with several programs serving the youth. She also served as a case manager for several state-funded programs assisting low-income, at-risk and disabled individuals and families. She is a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
"My position on the FWCS Board of School Trustees allows me to go beyond being involved in my own children’s education. It allows me to serve in a position where I’m able to represent and advocate for the young people who live and attend schools in the same community that I’ve called home for most of my life."

Stephen Corona: Board Member - District 5
Steve Corona is the Executive Director of Latinos Count, a non-profit organization focused on sending more Latino youth to college.
Steve is also the longest-serving member in history of the Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of Trustees, having served since 1981. In addition to the FWCS Board, Mr. Corona serves on the National School Boards Association (NSBA), the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) and was recently elected to serve on the board of the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA). He also serves on the City of Fort Wayne’s Redevelopment Commission and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Saint Francis.
Steve is owner of two companies, Corona Consulting, specializing in marketing and organizational development for businesses and nonprofit organizations, and Pedaling for Good LLC, operator of Le Tour de Fort, bicycle pub crawls supporting disabled American veterans.
He was the 2015 recipient of the Father Tom O’Connor Light of Christ Award presented to him by The Most Reverend Kevin Rhoades, Bishop of the Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Diocese.
Prior to retiring in 2012, Steve served nearly 30 years as President and CEO of JobWorks, a nonprofit job training organization.
He is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television. He has been married 40 years to Colleen and they have four children and eight grandchildren.

Anne Duff: Board Member- At-Large
Anne Duff is retired educator and guidance counselor. She spent most of the past two decades as a stay at home mom raising her now adult children, Danielle, Camille, and Dillon. Anne has been active in the Fort Wayne community, including the Junior League of Fort Wayne, the Bunche-Towles PTA, and most recently as a volunteer for Study Connection and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She is also active in her neighborhood association and is currently secretary of its board. She is a graduate of the 2002 class of Leadership Fort Wayne and spent five years working there as an assistant to the Program Director. She is a member of Northeast Indiana Friends of Public Education and chair of Indiana Coalition for Public Education Northeast, both education advocacy groups. Anne holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in French and a master’s degree from IPFW in Counselor Education. She has 17 years of experience as an educator and guidance counselor in public schools. She and her husband, Lenny, enjoy being “empty-nesters” and have been married since 1990.

Julie Hollingsworth: Board Member - District 1
Julie Hollingsworth is a retired educator with 32 years of experience in public education including 30 years with Fort Wayne Community Schools.
As a high school mathematics teacher she taught algebra, geometry and advanced algebra, as well as 12 years of Advanced Placement Calculus. She was a head basketball and softball coach and served as the Elmhurst athletic director for 5 years.
In 1998, Julie was awarded the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau Nancy Rehm Award for contributions to local women’s sports.

Email:Jennifer Matthias - Board Member: District 2
Jennifer Matthias is a life-long resident of Fort Wayne and a proud graduate of FWCS. She attended Croninger Elementary School, Blackhawk Middle School and Snider High School. Jennifer graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art from Indiana University.
She currently works as a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant and is the owner of a locally owned and operated fundraising publication. Jennifer and her husband, Toby, have lived in FWCS District 2 for more than 25 years and are raising four children. Two of their daughters graduated from Snider High School, and a daughter and son currently attend FWCS.
Jennifer is an active, engaged parent, community member, PTSA member, volunteer coach and public education advocate. “I believe every child deserves a quality and equitable education. Public schools are the heart of the communities they serve. I will be a representative who will listen, learn and advocate for all FWCS entities.”

Noah Smith - Secretary: District 3
Noah Smith is a proud FWCS graduate having spent the majority of his life living in FWCS’ District 2. Noah attended Glenwood Park Elementary School, Lane Middle School and Snider High School. After graduating from Manchester College (now University), he began a career in banking that continues to this day. Noah owns and operates BOD Financial Group, LLC, which specializes in helping lenders and small businesses facilitate Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.
Noah and his wife Mary, who also attended FWCS, have three daughters who attend Snider High School.
