About Us
Fort Wayne Community Schools is proud to offer a diverse range of programs in our 52 school buildings. Programs are designed to meet the needs of each student individually, whether a student needs extra support in a particular area or if a student needs to be challenged. Starting in elementary school, we have schools that focus on communication, Montessori, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math). In high school, students will have the opportunity to select a focus of study aligning with their interests through the Schools of Success. Beginning with the Class of 2028, students will be able to choose a pathway in one of three Schools: School of Business & the Arts, School of Health Sciences & Human Services or School of Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology & Trades. Students will be able to earn college credit, learn a world language, participate in music or arts programs while also learning skills and attributes to allow them to be successful in life. Each school also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities to provide students an option to excel outside of the classroom. Read more about each of our schools and programs on the website or contact your school of interest for a tour. We want you to discover what's within each of our excellent schools.
