Becky Hill

Member - District 3

Becky Hill is the coordinator of the IPFW's Project COMPASS for student suicide prevention. After retiring as executive director of the YWCA in 2006, she was the program director for the Northeast Indiana Nonprofit Alliance for four years.

She is a graduate of Indiana University and has completed masters courses at IPFW.

She serves on the FWCS Board because, "I strongly believe in the FWCS mission to educate all students to high standards, enabling them to become productive, responsible citizens. The position of school board member was a natural progression from my personal and professional life, including being an English teacher and community educator and volunteer, having leadership positions with the YWCA and Martin Luther King Montessori School and being the mother of two teachers. I feel that my perspective gained through that total experience helps us move toward fulfilling our mission."

Ms. Hill has been married for 51 years. She has two children and four grandchildren.
