The conference is for middle school girls and focused on careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The event is designed to heighten girls’ interest in STEM careers and encourage them to select high school courses that will lead to success in college. The conference features a series of small-group workshops led by professional women in the fields of architecture, biology, mechanical engineering, graphic design, pharmacy, surgery and many more. The girls will participate in four hands-on workshops and will attend two special science assemblies.
