Indian Village students wraps up Class Coin Challenge

Indian Village classes wrap up a week-long Class Coin Challenge to raise money to purchase more books for the school. Students brought in pennies on Monday, nickels on Tuesday, dimes on Wednesday, quarters on Thursday and dollar bills on Friday. Scholastic matches monetary donations with a donation of up to one million Books to national non-profit organizations decicated to helping families in need. These organizations include Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., and the Kids in Need Foundation. The classroom that raises the most money will have an out-of-uniform day, and each student in the winning class will receive a free book.
