Neighborhood Connection offers Zumba at Anthis

Those interested in combing a weighted workout with dance movement using the rhythms of Zumba will participate in a weekly class at Anthis Career Center offered by FWCS Neighborhood Connection. From 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursdays through July 26, Zumba Toning participants will take their class to the next level by utilizing muscle training with the addition of light weight Toning sticks (1.5 lbs). Zumba Toning creates the same party atmosphere as regular Zumba programs with an added benefit of resistance training. Zumba Toning is appropriate for the very beginner as well as the most experienced participant as modifications can be made for the fitness level of the participant. Note: Bring your toning sticks to the first class. Toning sticks can be purchased at Zumba.com or you can purchase them from the instructor at the first class for $20 and save the shipping and handling fees.
